Deck Blauw was the standard paint used on the horizontal walking surfaces of U.S. Navy ships during World War II. Developed as part of Navy Measure camouflage systems, this color helped reduce aerial visibility and glare on ship decks. Its cool tone and matte finish made it an essential element in naval concealment strategy across the Pacific and Atlantic theaters.
